Remove your site from Sockt

If you own or run a website, you can have its Sockt profile removed. Once you prove you control the domain, it is removed from sockt.com, search results, exports and the API.

The registered domain, such as example.co.uk. Its subdomains are removed with it.

The removal request runs on raq.com, where Sockt's account and verification systems live.

How you prove you control the domain

  1. Add a DNS TXT record we give you, starting sockt-verify=, to the domain. This works for any domain whose DNS you manage.
  2. Or we send a link to admin@, webmaster@ or hostmaster@ your domain, and you click it.

Verification links and codes last 72 hours. Removal is free.
